UK band Trope deliver a fine selection of contemporary soul jazz for the Ladbroke Grove based Jazz Refreshed label. Trope are a band that originate from Glasgow, Birmingham and London, their debut performance was at the Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul festival, playing before the mighty Nile Rodgers and Chic. They have also been featured on BBC Introducing and were nominated for Best New Artist at the 2016 JAJ Awards in Japan. Bandcamp have also featured the band in their New and Notable records section.
